A recent trend in media is the idea that children are scary or creepy. Girls seem to be particularly popular – from pale-faced, stringy-haired ghosts to demonically possessed victims, creepy girls are becoming a common feature in horror films and other genres. This list covers ten creepy girls who have appeared in films, TV and video games in the past thirty or so years, to frighten or fascinate audiences. Most can be terrifying but have a sense of sympathy to them, or some are just unstoppable creatures of evil wanting to rip the world apart.

The 10 Most Awesome Pools In the World

It's not even June and my gonads are already melting. And since I can't be by the sea—working on a escape plan now—I wish I could be working by any of these amazing pools. The Tangga House is built around a central courtyard, with the borderless pool surrounding two sides of the house and a garden growing on its roof. I don't know how expensive this is to maintain, but I wish I had the money to pay for it.

5 Bond Car Gadgets That Really Should Have Gone Mainstream

People like to say that you should look at a Mercedes-Benz S-Class to figure out what sort of things are going to be on mainstream cars within a decade. Stuff like ABS and airbags showed up on the big Merc long before they did on, say, a Golf. But what you really should do is look at the cars featured in James Bond films. Stuff like front and rear cameras, in-car phones and (to a certain extent) revolving license plates have all been brought to market and in some cases are commonplace on cars you can buy today. The problem is, not everything from the 50 years of Bond films had made it to production — even though some of it should have.

5 Best Earbuds

olid sound doesn't have to come at the expense of portability. Earbuds used to get a pretty bad rap for offering lackluster sound, but they've come a long way and many can seriously compete with their over-ear cousins. Some even offer noise isolation, and super-comfortable fits that let you hear and enjoy your music without damaging your hearing or your ear canals in the process. Here's a look at five great earbuds, based on your nominations.

15 Hilarious Star Wars Bathroom Products That Never Got Made

Merchandising important franchises can have its moments of levity. This is one of those moments. Toy designer Jason Geyer strikes back with more failed merchandise concepts from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The series of merchandise concepts focuses on toiletries from Colgate and Curad. Geyer provides a lengthy commentary on the merchandising process and the final result (character toothbrushes). My favorite is the devolution of Yoda from wise Jedi Master to advice maven and sterile strip dispenser. In the world of merchandising however, Geyer proves Yoda wrong. There is some space between do and do not.
