10 Origins of Common Internet Terms

This list looks at the origins of ten computer related words. The entries presented here are not necessarily etymological, but, rather, they attempt to trace the words back to their creators or first use in the computing world. I tried to include words that were common enough to be recognizable, so there is a mix of technical and colloquial terms. If there are any you feel I have overlooked, or any about which I am mistaken, please share your thoughts in the comments! 15 Major Fast Food Failures

The fast food restaurant is a fixture of urban, suburban and rural America, appealing to people from every age group, income bracket and ethnic background. 10 Tips For Frugal European Travel

Traveling frugally is more than backpacking and witnessing the blur of landscape from the seat of a European railcar. Having a tight pocketbook, however, doesn't mean you can't dream of venturing into the large and small pockets of Europe: To stroll on uneven cobblestones, wander past archaic treasures of history, or spend a leisurely afternoon watching the world go by from a café patio.
