10 Little-Known Facts About Katy Perry

It seemed like only yesterday that Katy Perry was singing about kissing a girl and waking up flat broke in Vegas. The 25-year-old superstar has made quite a name for herself over the past two years, and not all the press has been good press. Most recently Katy was slammed for her appearance on the eternally innocent PBS program Sesame Street. Many parents were appalled at her low cut, cleavage-baring dress, and the episode (originally set to air on New Year’s Eve) was nixed. Being the good sport that she is, Katy took it in stride and even joked about the cancellation with her husband-to-be Russell Brand via Twitter.

The 15 Most Outlandish Wall Street Indulgences

"Wall Street 2: The Money Never Sleeps" with Gordon Gekko finally out of jail, and that skinny dude from "Transformers" trying to be his protege, I thought it necessary to explore the most baller indulgences of some prominent Wall Street power players. Top Ten Acts Dissed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Growing up in Cleveland in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, we were well aware that our radio stations rocked! We also knew artists who were embraced here often went on to nationwide fame. It was a wonderful time and place to grow up- an amazing part of the rock music scene. All of this beautiful music was, and is, the background for our lives. When discussions about where to put the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame started, the loud and public outcry over where it rightly belonged brought it home to its Lake Erie perch. When the decision was made to build the Hall in Cleveland, we were in full agreement. However, many of us disagree with the nominating committee and rock experts when it comes to the crazy omissions- performers who definitely belong in the Hall, yet remain overlooked. We read the eligibility requirements- 25 years since they put out their first record and unquestionable musical excellence- and we wonder who, exactly, these brain-dead cretins are that are voting? We argue about them at parties and wonder what the heck is going on that these acts could possibly be excluded.

Tiger Woods was No. 30 last year, but did his troubled public image thwart his influence? President Obama grabbed the No. 1 spot in 2008, and fell to No. 3 in 2009, but has he done enough in 2010 to even make the list?

6 Ways Customers Tick Off Chefs

If the name Ron Eyester rings a bell, it might be because we gave him and his @theangrychef tweets a little shout-out in our "Things we love" piece on Friday - right next to meat-themed shirts and pimento cheese. Eyester is the executive chef and owner of Rosebud Restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia - and boy, do customers get his blood boiling on a good many occasion. And while we might have promised Gripe Week was over on Friday, it is Monday - and we see that as reason enough to don our cranky pants and/or cranky apron once more for old kvetching time's sake.
